Symposium: ISA/IEC-62443 for EV Charging Infrastructure
On March 28 ElaadNL is organizing a symposium on the international ISA/IEC-62443 standard and how to apply it to EV charging infrastructure.
All over the world, we can find an increasing number of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructures being installed. It is a logical and necessary development as society moves from carbon fuel-driven mobility to sustainable mobility. In this model, electric vehicles and the charging infrastructures are core building blocks. As these infrastructures grow in number and size, so do the cybersecurity risks associated with them. But how do we ensure that EV charging infrastructures are implemented securely? How do grid operators consider the risks associated with the EV charging infrastructure? How do charge point manufacturers know how to build secure charge points? What requirements should municipalities ask for when contracting charge point operators (CPOs) and the underlying EV charging infrastructure? How do we avoid costly duplicate cybersecurity tests when purchasing EV charging infrastructure? What international standards can be used to help align the needs of charge point operators and chargepoint manufacturers.
These are all relevant questions that we will cover in our ISA/IEC 62443 for EV charging infrastructure symposium hosted by ElaadNL on the 28th of March from 10:00 till 17:00 hours CET.
Confirmed speakers are:
- Maarten Hoeven (ENCS – European Network for Cybersecurity)
- Harm van den Brink (NAL – Dutch National Agenda for Charging Infrastructure)
- Anna Prudnikova en Sjoerd Peerlkamp (Secura, part of Bureau Veritas)
- Philip Westbroek (Dutch DSO Enexis)
- Carlos Montes Portela (ElaadNL)
We will have a combination of interactive presentations, hands-on labs and a panel discussion. We hope to see you at ElaadNL!
Please register soon, as we have a limited number of seats available!
